I'm so happy I found MODx!
I have been researching various content management systems for the last 6+ months. I started out looking at Wordpress and moved on to Joomla and Drupal. Though I set up mock sites in all three I had initially decided that Drupal would be the smartest one to learn. I purchased a few books, which I did read, and was playing around in my "mock" sites. I was pretty intimidated by all the diverse info and of how everything was integreated. Though nothing seemed intuitive to me, I was determined to figure it out.... then I stumbled upon a site using MODx, which of course led me to the MODx site. I downloaded the latest release and set up my first site. I was thrilled, finally a CMS that was intuitive from a front end coders perspective! Viola! I had found the CMS for ME:-) I did have to wait an agonizing month for "MODx Web Developmemt" to be released, but I continued my research online.
